stigma sessions
grief is already stigmatized and many types of loss take on additional layers of stigma. every type of loss deserves the permission to be felt and grieved in order to heal, and sometimes we don’t even realize that healing is needed.
your loss may look like your creative spark, confidence, sense of purpose, a job, relationship or even loss of life. it may be recent. it may be distant. it may feel like the world thinks it’s time to be “over” it.
these cohorts create space to build trust within small groups to process grief that feels invisible, misunderstood, or complicated. take steps towards reclaiming your spark over the course of a month – together.
make yourself your next project
grief can show up in unexpected times and ways. from burnout to living a less than fulfilled life, being honest with ourselves about the symptoms can be stigmatized in and of itself.
using the create/share/heal framework, work through a month-long project in community. don’t worry if you don’t have an idea yet. we’ll get there together—the allowing of creativity is the most important part.
